Wild Ginger Thai Hot

It’s hard to express how happy I am that Wild Ginger finally moved out of the run-down shopping center in Old Colorado City and in to its own building now located at 27 Manitou Avenue in Manitou Springs. The food and the service have always been top notch, but now it’s a nice atmosphere as well. If you’re feeling a bit daring, you need to sweat out some water weight, or you’re just extremely congested, order your Pad Thai Wild Ginger “Thai Hot”.  I don’t think you’ll melt into your chair, but it’s definitely eye-opening. I’m not exactly sure where these Thai peppers come in on the Scoville Heat Scale, but it’s somewhere between napalm and thermonuclear.

If you live on the West Side, you probably already know about this place. If not, it’s worth a drive. Easily the best Thai food in the Pike's Peak Region, and it just keeps getting better. I'll be back soon.
