The Shootin’ Den Resurrected

I hate seeing a local business go out of business, but I’m ten times more excited when it springs back to life. The Shootin’ Den on the 400 block of East Fillmore in Colorado Springs didn’t just re-open the doors, they moved a few doors down and have completely refurbished the place. I went back in a few weeks ago after hearing about the resurrection, and I was really impressed. Whether your game is skeet, trap, sporting clays, IPSC, self defense, reloading or just good old fashioned hunting, they will bend over backwards to help. Even though they don’t have 5 million dollars worth of inventory on the floor, their prices are very reasonable. They are also very helpful in regard to FFL transfers and ordering reloading components (those hazmat fees are the killer, aren’t they?). So the next time you’re gearing up for hunting or shooting sports, consider spending your money at a local business as opposed to a big box “Sportsman’s” place.
