Best tennis near Manitou Springs

Here's a secret that you have to promise to tell no one about - just between us ok? Do you like to get outside and hit the tennis ball around once in awhile? Well then, nestled in the trees between Old Colorado City and Manitou Springs are the two of the nicest tennis courts around! Thest best part is that no one knows they are even there! My daughter, Brooke, resident of Manitou, says every time she rides her bike by there she never sees anyone playing. So you know what that means? You can grab your racquet and balls and plan a fun time with a friend to hit that ball around.
There's playground equipment for the little ones there too, as well as a park and a softball field. There's plenty of public parking as well.
And speaking of riding your bike, I have another secret for you! Did you know there is a very nice path from Manitou that goes all the way downtown through Old Colorado City? It passes right by these courts.
Now for the secret location... (drum roll....) they are located on El Paso Blvd between Highway 24 and Beckers Lane. From Manitou, take the path east under Highway 24, then left on Beckers, the courts will be on your left. From Highway 24 by car, take the first Manitou exit, then left at the stop sign, left on Beckers Lane. From Old Colorado City, it will be a nice bike ride west on Colorado and after it turns into Manitou, turn right on Beckers Lane.
I know it's November but we have plenty of dry Colorado weather here too and you will love getting some excercise as we approach the holidays.
