So how do I write a bio that doesn’t bore you to tears and force you to navigate away from this page instantly? If you’re gracious enough to stick with me, I’ll get to the fun stuff… I promise. Please allow me get a brief history out of the way first.

I’m an Air Force brat, a Nebraska native, a graduate of the University of Kansas, and I moved to the Pike’s Peak region in 2001 at the behest of some good friends. I found my true love, Nicole, in 2008 and married her in 2009. I have been in the construction industry since 1997, and I’ve been selling Real Estate here since 2003 in both new home sales and the resale market. I’ve worked a strong seller’s market and a strong buyer’s market, and been successful in both. I can attribute this to something most people in sales do not have – a strong analytical personality. While most salespeople are highly expressive creatures usually better at socializing than follow-through, I take pride in being the person that sweats the details.

Ok, now on to the fun stuff. I think to say you’re an “Outdoorsman” in Colorado is a little bit like saying “I breathe in and out over and over.” For flatlanders like me that move to the mountains, I think it goes without saying. I love to hike, snowboard, hunt and camp, and despite the fact that I really stink at fly fishing, I thoroughly enjoy it. When I find the time, I compete in shooting sports. I am also a second generation beer brewer, which makes me pretty popular among friends every six weeks or so. Seriously, whether it’s a new ale recipe or learning to tie dry flies, I’m always tinkering with something in my spare time (back to the analytical thing, I suppose).
